History

Company manager, Hooman Sholehpak, started as an apprentice in the flooring/tiling industry in Wellington in August 1988. Hooman worked there for nine months before moving to Auckland, where he worked with several flooring companies becoming more and more experienced in all aspects of flooring.

Hooman and his wife and partner, Arezou established the company “A & H Contractors” in 1992 in Auckland as a flooring and tiling company specialising in all aspects of soft and hard flooring. In its five years of operations in Auckland, the company carried out numerous high-end residential and light commercial projects and later moved on to high-rise apartments.

In 1997, the company moved to Christchurch where it carried out both residential and commercial tiling and flooring work. Due to high demand in the commercial tiling market, Hooman and Arezou decided to focus on this sector of the market.

A+H Tiling Ltd is currently the only tiling company that specialises solely in commercial tiling contracts throughout the South Island. It has become the largest and most sought after tiling company in the South Island, particularly in Christchurch. The client base includes all the major construction companies and architectural design companies.

Today

We, at A+H Tiling, continue to offer a fully-professional tiling, waterproofing and floor preparation service in a wide range of medium and large commercial building projects as well as such developments as universities, retirement villages, resorts and hospitals.

With 22 years experience in the industry, we offer a full supply, design, advisory and installation service.

We have all the expertise, plant, manpower and experience to manage major tiling contracts.

Our qualified full-time staff carries out all tiling projects.
